Great staff and regulars. All very friendly and social. THE MOST comfortable bed in a dorm in my 2+yrs of travelling. The 7 bed dorm was all single beds with 10", possibly 12" thick mattresses. Excellent showers with plenty of space and consistent water flow. Easy walk to the pier where most things leave from, including the Sky Bus. Great city. Brilliant attractions. Unique. A whole different world to the rest of Aus.

Marilyn

No breakfast, but well stocked clean kitchen. Enough fridges. Great position. Surrounded by great food places. Mostly very clean, one bathroom dirty (Lsdies near night exit 2nd floor). Cold showers too often on 2nd floor, but others available. Great handling of fire alarm going off early morning by Fire Service.

great location, cool old building, we loved the ping pong and pool tables. comfy, clean bed and pillows. staff were friendly. we had been hiking for 5 nights so it was a welcome change, but it might not be everyones cup of tea. cheap and cheerful! good for groups

Imogen

I tried the YHA, the Pickled frog, and this one, and it is the best hostel in Hobart in my opinion. The hostel is huge, big rooms, large common spaces. Maybe I feel like that because there was not a lot of people when I was there.

Luca

The beds were comfortable and clean. There's nothing extra or fancy about it. It feels safe and had an OK vibe. Seems very much too big to really have a kind of hub, or soul. But it ok. No complaints. Nice to have Netflix!
